The fabric here stretches, and that changes how the cover behaves. Rather than draping loosely over the shape of the sofa, each piece is pulled over its section and grips it, so the surface stays taut across the cushion and looks like upholstery instead of a blanket. The elastic hold is also why it survives a cat leaping off the arm without the front corner peeling back, which is where loose-laid covers usually give up.
Because it comes as separate pieces, the coverage reaches the parts a single throw always misses. There are seat covers in four stretch ranges, a chaise cover, a headrest cover and a backrest cover, so backrests and edges are protected against drool, fur and daily rubbing rather than just the seat. Jacquard chenille gives the surface its texture and its resistance, with a weave close enough that claws snag far less readily than on a flat knit.
To size it, measure each seat cushion's width and length and match it against the ranges below, then measure the headrest and backrest sections separately if you want those pieces too. A 17.7 inch cushion cover completes the set. Everything goes in the washing machine, which is worth doing regularly since a covered sofa collects the fur and odour that would otherwise settle in the upholstery.
